Of handiworks in different towns or countries

In school in Helsinki in the southern coast of Finland, I liked handiworks a lot, even though knitting did not work out ok. The perspective in handiworks teaching seemed to be that it is good to have all kinds of basic traditional skills in life, and that a healthy kind of life has many different kinds of things in a balanced healthy nice ways, also some handiworks every now and tgen, but not overly much of them, especially not both work and free time of such. At least in woodworks the perspective seemed to be connected with sports skills and with the feel of the different materials and of personal choices in making common artifacts. But in practice I did not later have any handiwork hobby even though I would have wanted to have such a hobby. Later in Savonlinna handiworks were possible like supported by arts. But such was not as fun and the balance between work and free time was lacking even regardless of me having done hobby like amounts in hobby like ways instead of full time work and the place lived in being the same, like for example maybe on some countryside small factory with a fine valued tradition in the eyes of the general public, like for example some making woolen threads, or a shaw mill or making flour from wheat.

In Espoo it has been almost impossible for me to do any handiworks. It is jyst somehow not peace enough for one's own life and hobbies etc. The sewing gets prevented by someone, is it a transvestite, claiming that there ought to be a minimum unexactness of at least 5-10cm in the wideness and lenghts of the sewn pieces, etc. As I today looked at my old Finnush blog about things connected with handiworks, that seemed much better in spirit. So I guess the problem in Espoo is that many guess that robot like ways of doing would be good for sewing clothes for sale. But according to the influencies I get, it does not seem to go so easy that way. Instead in shops the clothes are of the styles of different types of persons, like more along a thin body form, or sturdy with a liking for food, or somewhat curved lines like one liking social situations or one liking music or some other hobby type areas of life, these all different. So cutting a fabric according to formulae does not seem ok for that. Instead one needs some eye for what would be a nice cloth for someone from these remaining pieces of fabric. It does not mean that one could not put such to computer-guided sewing-robots, at least partly, but it does need some more insight. I have the impression that "Helsingin villasukkatehdas" said on their internet page that one can also somewhat choose the style of the woolen socks that they machine-knit. Like tense or sloppy style, somewhat man like factual or loose or kind of detailed. And they knit of the threads of each client, so those can be of a local style.

Likewise if one thinks of machine-cutting fabrics and sewing clithes from it, a more tense style, maybe in somebody's view more bypassing things, would like alsi a more tense detailed or nicely factual sewing line and thread, etc. So the clients would ve happier and all understand better about basic skilks of handiworks, if these were chosen separately for each style of cloth or other artifact, instead of trying to use all possible combination from the same fabric and same theead sewn in simikarly tense or straight or sloppy lines, or just finely curved but why not all factors varying according to common sense according to each situation and the feelings of what each kind of clith woukd be good to be like.
